Womens Surf Club

We’re passionate about making surfing more accessible to the masses, and we understand that sometimes there can be unseen barriers that stop you wanting to get in the water. That’s why, as of 2021, we’ll be starting a Women’s Surf Club.

Our aim as a surf school is to help build and support a flourishing surf community in and around Whitby. We believe to do that we have to welcome everyone into environments where they feel most comfortable. Our Women’s surf club will be solely for women wanting to throw themselves into surf culture, so they can be surrounded by like-minded individuals that will cheer them on and help them progress.

For any women over the age of 16, we welcome all abilities – so if it’s your first time in the surf, you want to build your water confidence, or you’re looking for tips and tricks to help you nail turns on the wave face, we have a place for you. The Women’s surf club is an important part of our mission to reach everyone in Whitby, and to provide locals with a welcoming learning environment that will help them make the most out of being so close to the sea.

The Women’s Surf Club will be held weekly from our Whitby destination, in and on the beautiful Whitby beach. Our instructors are all highly experienced and fully qualified. Locals to Whitby themselves, they know the joy that can be found in our waves and they’re as stoked as we are to share the surf culture with anyone wanting to jump in and give it a go.

Like all our surf lessons, all the equipment you need will be provided on a weekly basis. If you already have a wetsuit and board, you’re more than welcome to bring them to the club, or you can use our high-quality equipment to stay toasty warm whilst you’re out in the surf.

If you have any questions about our Women’s Surf Club, get in touch and we would be more than happy to answer them for you. Alternatively, if you’re ready to jump in and want to confirm your place today, book now to avoid disappointment
