If you’re after one-on-one time with our expert instructors, you can also book in for a private session.

Group Lessons

A 2 hour lesson with a group of up to 16 people, all of our group lessons are lead by one of our highly trained and dedicated instructors.

Aimed at all abilities and ages (8+ years) this is our most popular lesson, each session will be as relevant to you as an individual as it is to the whole group and our instructors will offer expert advice to help you progress your surfing and confidence in the sea.

Through our years taking surf lessons, we have always found everyone in the groups is as stoked and excited as each other. In fact, this is one of our favourite things about running surf lessons: Everyone’s huge grin when they catch their first wave or stand up for the first time.

Your lesson will start on the beach where you’ll be able to learn the right technique to get you on your feet, and then we’ll take you out into the surf.

Caught the surf bug and wanting to keep surfing after your session? If you’re wanting to improve your surfing and are looking for tips and pointers to help you get out in the sea on your own, we would recommend at least 2 to 3 lessons to help you get to grips with the basics. 4 or 5 will have you confident enough to start incorporating more complex techniques, and then you’ll be ready to jump in!

With all our surf activities, safety is a priority. As such, we always take both surf and weather conditions into account before taking you out. If the surf is too big, the sea too stormy or even completely flat, we will get in touch to help you rearrange your session. You and your experience is our number 1 concern, so we ensure before we run any session that you’re guaranteed prime conditions to make the most of your lesson with us.

We do require a minimum  of 3 participants to run a group surf lesson, if you are booking as an individual and we do not have enough people to run a session we will contact you to offer an alternative. Please note that all group sessions are open ages ranges, we try our best to make groups age appropriate however this will depend on the bookings on the day.

Private Lessons

We also offer a range of private lessons, in which you will progress at a faster pace and will have more 1-to-1 instructor time to help you reach your surfing dreams.

These are personal, educational, and ensure a unique experience that will further develop your surfing. You can book into a private lesson in either a 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 capacity, meaning if you would rather have another join you on your surf lesson, you can.

A fantastic gift, or day out, you’ll be able to learn together – and laugh together- as you get to grips with this wild and wonderful sport.
